Different Types of Yoga

There are many different types of yoga to target what exactly you are trying to get out of the experience and what level of yoga you are working with. A few options that both beginners and more advanced individuals can enjoy are:

Anusara: Seeks to use the physical practice of yoga to help students open their hearts, experience grace, and let their inner goodness shine through. This practice is perfect for beginners.

Ashtanga: Always performs the exact same poses in the exact same order. This is a hot, sweaty, physically demanding practice.

Hatha: A generic term that refers to any type of yoga that teaches physical postures. This is a relaxing and less vigorous style of yoga.
